Nestor and his team have changed my life. Due to some health setbacks and other challenges, my financial picture wasn’t in a comfortable spot. I had missed a considerable chunk of time from work and had been drawing down my financial resources. But, after beating cancer (Victory!), my financial future was becoming a bit hazy. Would I be able to enjoy my later years comfortably? Would I have to work longer than I planned to?
Nestor casually asked me a question one day: “Has your advisor spoken to you about doing a Roth Conversion?” The answer was no. As a matter of fact, I hadn’t heard much from that advisor over the many months prior to his question. It was a simple question, but it made me wonder why I hadn’t been prompted by my then advisor to do something like that.
I was curious. Was Nestor’s view of financial planning and wealth management different from what I had previously experienced? One official meeting after that thought, gave me my answer. Absolutely.
His team will take a deep dive into everything that affects your estate and finances. Not intrusive. Just thorough. After, he will provide recommendations and suggestions. It is truly a concierge financial experience, unlike anything I have ever had. He has my trust, and he has my back. I feel like I have “financial overwatch” now! Many thanks to Nestor and his team at AlignPoint Wealth. I can’t recommend him enough!

Maybe "fun" isn't quite the right word, but Nestor has been a pleasure to work with these past five years. He is professional, knowledgeable, candid, and empathetic. I do not like future planning and try to avoid the conversation at all costs. Prior to Nestor, we had someone who did not have a fiduciary responsibility to us and it showed. Nestor keeps us on track and truly listens to us. He gives guidance based on our comfort level and goals without pressure or ulterior motives. He is honest in his feedback and listens and empathizes with our current situation. He keeps us accountable, meeting with us throughout the year to make sure we are on track to meet our future goals. We are both self-employed, so having financial security for our children is very important to us. I truly appreciate his patience, integrity, and commitment to our financial well-being. We are now in a comfortable position for college, retirement, and beyond!

Prior to working with Nestor, we were saving here and there and letting old 401ks lay around. Nestor worked with us to devise a plan for our present and future. He is a great listener and was eager to find out what was important to us and our family. Discussing finances and budgets as a couple can be overwhelming. Nestor understood that, and he helped ease us into difficult conversations that we needed to have. Now we have a plan, and we feel more comfortable in our spending and saving. If you are looking for someone to help you with your financial planning Nestor Vargus of Green Mountain Planning is a very good choice. I am speaking from personal experience working with him. He has the experience & education plus all the necessary credentials, He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) & a member of the Nat’l Assoc of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) If you are retired, like my husband & I are, & looking for someone who knows how to help you plan your finances for this stage of your life this is Nestor’s specialty area. I find him to be conscientious, hard working & ethical. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Mountain Planning.

I cannot say enough good things about Nestor and the work he does through Green Mountain Planning. I would recommend him to anyone. Nestor helped me figure out my finances in ways I never would have thought of. If you are needing help in the financial planning department, do yourself a favor and contact Nestor.
