About Me
Hi, I'm Dasarte Yarnway. I'm the founder of Yarnway Wealth Management and my goal is to help you feel more confident in your money. Together, we create a plan that helps you live the worry-free life you've always dreamt of.For as long as I can remember, my heart has been sculpted to serve.
My humble beginnings form in Liberia, West Africa were my mother was born on the Firestone plantation and my father in Nimba County, a rural part of the country. Both, though ambitious, had next to nothing to their names.
Making the difficult decision to leave our country, with an impending civil war on the horizon, my mother and father separately emigrated to San Francisco, California where my life story begins. My mother, Tinniziee, is a sweetheart. Strong, but sensitive. Calm, but direct. My father, Lonbaye, was a man’s man. Handsome, charismatic, funny with a voice that could shake the earth. Together, they helped to relocate many refugees from consecutive wars that devastated the country of Liberia for over 14 years.
For me, that meant a host of new “brothers and sisters” and “aunts and uncles” of whom I had never met. We slept horizontally on my full sized bed to make space. We laughed, ate, danced and played. I gave my clothes, space and parts of myself - even at such a tender age - to ensure that they were okay.
This experience is woven into the fabric of my character, and can be found throughout the culture of my firm, Yarnway Wealth Management.
At YWM, our job is to align your resources - your time, effort, and capital - so you can build and live a fulfilling life.
I'm a California native and reside in the state capitol, Sacramento, with my wife, Flo, and daughter, Sophia.
