With hundreds of podcasts about money and dozens more launching each month, how do you find your favorites?
This Wealthtender guide will help you discover the best financial podcasts you should be listening to in 2020.
Whether you’re looking to get smarter about managing your money, saving more money or investing to achieve financial independence, you’re likely to find what you’re looking for among the financial podcasts featured in this guide.
Have you considered the reputation a financial podcast has established with its listeners? Just as many of us now turn to sites like Yelp or TripAdvisor to find the highest rated restaurants or hotels, we designed Wealthtender to help you find the best financial podcasts based on feedback from their listeners.
We encourage podcast owners to invite their listeners to write a review on their Wealthtender profile page. When listeners post reviews on Wealthtender, you’ll learn why they’re a fan and what they like most to help you decide if the podcast is right for you.
It’s also important to remember there are many smaller and newer financial podcasts that don’t yet have thousands of listeners. If you don’t see several ratings yet for a podcast, remember they may have just recently launched, are intended for a smaller audience or may have only recently joined Wealthtender.
While podcast hosts may have a background in finance or a related field, there is no requirement regarding this, and many simply speak from their own life experience.
On their financial podcasts, hosts offer education, insights and guidance regarding common money matters, such as overcoming financial challenges, paying off debt, managing money effectively, saving for retirement, or building wealth to achieve financial independence. Often, they conduct interviews with guests who share ideas and advice based upon their own personal and professional experiences.
Most financial podcasts are free to download, but be aware that owners of financial podcasts may make money from advertising or recommending specific services and tools to their listeners. A reputable podcast host will clearly disclose how they make money and if they are compensated for recommending financial products and services.
No matter your income, stage of life or unique interests, with hundreds of financial podcasts to choose from, there are likely several reputable podcasts well-suited to your needs.
We created this guide to help you find the financial podcasts best for you.
