I have been with Cordant more than 10 years but was also working with the founder prior to Cordant when he was with a different firm. I have found Cordant to be responsive, friendly, and always had good insights and suggestions. Garrick Rozairo has been there for us along with his predecessor and any transition we have had has been very smooth and seamless. Cordant has helped up through retiring from Intel with investments, how to manage our stock options, pension, and 401k. We now are comfortably enjoying retirement. When we have an unexpected event that we needed to fund and were not sure how that would affect our long term plans, Cordant was there to do the analysis and let us know what we were capable of doing.
Their advice is more than assessing your risk level, but also doing the analysis using Monte Carlo projections that take into account worst case economic scenarios to project viability of the current financial plan. I have had them rerun these projections with different unplanned expenditures to ensure viability of new decisions, because no plan is static.
Cordant meets with us twice a year for a review and to see if there are any changes that need to be put into place. This is very helpful. It usually brings up stuff that we haven’t thought of.
Cordant has helped us find and support us thought estate planning for when we are gone. I have found them to support me through all sorts of scenarios that most financial advisors don’t take on. I consider them a “trusted advisor” and has been there for us all along. I highly recommend them as a financial advisor if you want someone to be in your corner and be there when you need them.

We have been with Cordant, before it was Cordant, from the very beginning when it was under William Anfuso. Since the very beginning they have been attentive in serving us, addressing our financial security as their #1 measurement of their success - and they have easily exceeded that, in our opinion. We needed a customized financial model that addressed our religious criteria for investments. Instead of putting the ownership on us to understand the details of the financial market, as other financial institutes do, they took interest in investing time into the study and learning about the religious criteria and consulted with experts that were able to provide us with a model that gave us the sense of relief. This elevated our respect, appreciation and trust, always having our best interest in mind. We are left with a sense of peace of mind in being secure. They always made us feel valued and are quick with their responses. Cannot say Thank-you enough for all they have provided us. We have been working with the Cordant team for many years now (since they were Private Wealth NW). Cordant stood out due to the caliber of their staff. Each team member exudes deep knowledge and proficiency in wealth management, displaying a mastery of the complexities within the financial domain.
We were not savvy from an investing/financial management perspective and also not familiar with the complexities of earnings, taxation, etc. Over the years, while we were heads-down with our work and raising our kids, the Cordant team were our trusted partners and handled things on our behalf ensuring that our investment portfolio and strategy were aligned with our risk tolerance.
Year after year, they would explain things very patiently and this has helped us develop an overall strategy that encompasses our needs pre and post-retirement, estate planning, our donation strategy as well as how to support our children with their critical financial needs/decisions. Cordant has developed a well-defined process with key indicators that allow us to monitor our portfolio and manage the needed drawdowns. They are always available to discuss any issues and make tweaks to our plans and strategy as needed. This is over and above the bi-annual reviews. Overall, we have become more well informed about the wealth management domain.
We are very happy with this collaboration of 15+ years and have now introduced Cordant to our children so that they can help and mentor our kids early in their investment journey.

We were looking for financial advice that wasn't trying to chase every market trend and every potential dollar - we found this with Cordant (specifically, we have been working with Scott and Garrick). They are quick to respond when we have questions, they take the time to learn about and understand our goals (even when they are nontraditional goals), and they feel like thoughtful friends more than pushy sales people. I think the term "trusted advisor" gets overused, but for our family, Scott and Garrick are exactly that. I've been with Cordant 10 years now, and since day 1 it has basically been a completely "no worries" relationship. As an Intel Retiree my fairly unique initial requirements were fully understood by Cordant (due to their many clients from Intel) and quickly handled (to my relief and full satisfaction). And as my needs and requirements changed over the next 10 years Cordant was always there to support me and really smooth my road to full retirement. I heartily recommend Cordant. I'm a retiree from a major high tech company and I've had the pleasure of working with Cordant since 2014. When I engaged Cordant I had suffered a very significant financial loss, largely of my own making. My advisors at Cordant soon stabilized my situation and, using their models and methods, designed a balanced investment plan that preserved assets while giving a reasonable rate of return.
Together we develop goals, risk tolerance preferences, and a detailed cash flow forecast extending out more than ten years. My advisors have helped me navigate many administrative details, tax planning decisions, and estate planning strategy; and they work closely with my accountant and attorney - truly a team approach. Cordant's process always presents me with the likely range of investment performance based on Monte Carlo modeling and a detailed analysis of current portfolio performance in our regular review meetings. Everything is done very transparently and we have thorough discussion of all my questions and concerns.
I'm very pleased with my investment portfolio performance. My Cordant advisors have hit a sweet spot for me that has balanced security with consistent reasonable returns. After ten years, I consider Cordant part of my family.

We’ve been with Cordant for over 15 years. We were attracted because of Cordant’s adherence to their fiduciary duty and because of their attention to our needs and financial goals. We are not aggressive investors, but not totally conservative investors either. Our Cordant advisor, after evaluating our situation and asking about our risk tolerance, fashioned an investment strategy for us that bridged the extremes, that caused us (for the most part – see below) over the years to avoid the lowest lows, but caught a reasonable portion of the highs, and which, as the financial climate changed, ensured against sudden losses. Chasing those highest highs too aggressively risks eating those lowest lows. We made one serious financial mistake while with Cordant. Against Cordant’s advice when the market crashed in 2008, we got out of the markets. It was an emotional move and it cost us dearly as we missed a good portion of the following recovery. We wish now we’d followed Cordant’s advice through that challenging time.
Our Cordant financial plan has been consistently tested using Montecarlo methods, giving confidence in their planning’s long term success. We were not lead blindly along. At each semiannual update, as well as between as questions have arisin, they explained their strategies, and strategy updates in terms that I could understand, and I’ve learned much from them over time.
I guess the highest recommendation I can give is that, as a naturally skeptical and curious person, I have found no reason to leave Cordant even after all these years.

Before working with Cordant, I never had a good understanding of how financially secure we were. I would get feedback about financial investment performance but to what end goal? Were we on track? I didn’t have a good idea. Since joining with Cordant a few years ago that changed completely. Cordant Wealth Partners has walked side-by-side with me through numerous life and financial challenges -- whether it's buying or selling a home or a car, health choices, changing plans with retirement, or developing a will for our children. When my father passed away, they were there to guide me through a labyrinth of complicated decisions concerning my inheritance. Wealth is relative. I have enough savings to live fairly comfortably through retirement; more than some, far less than many others. That makes no difference to my advisor, Garrick Rozairo. He treats me with the utmost respect, is never condescending or rushed, and is a GREAT listener who clearly has my best interests at heart, regardless of my net worth. I can't speak highly enough of Garrick or CEO Isaac Presley. In a world where trust in institutions may be at an all-time low, it's telling that I can honestly say I have complete trust in Cordant Wealth Partners. And that trust is priceless.

I first talked with the founder of Cordant in 2013 in a quest to understand when I would be able to retire. After asking many questions about my goals, my financial risk aversion, and my expected expenses over time, they modeled my situation and developed a plan of what retirement could look like with various market performance models.
Cordant consultant's bi-annual reviews have made it easy and worry free to retire and do the things I want without fear or worry and without having to take undue risks.
I would recommend Cordant Advisors to anyone preparing for or currently in retirement.
