Jennifer offers us a great deal of personal attention, with both regularly scheduled check-ins and also intermittent questions and requests.
She has given us invaluable cash flow and budgetary advice that has been hugely impactful, in addition to long-term investments and retirement planning.
The overall office communication is efficient and well run, and this last year we've gotten to know Frank better and appreciate their balanced partnership.

I have known Jennifer Kirby for about 20 years and watched her transition from a very successful professional career as an employee to open her own partnered practice as a Financial Advisor. She's my advisor because, unlike every other person I have talked to in this profession through the years, she understands that life, and careers, don't always take the 'prescribed route'....and that's great! Instead of trying to force-fit you into financial products she LISTENS to your life goals and helps make the financial map to achieve them. I recommend her to every other high-achieving woman I know who might have been turned off by previous conversations with advisors. She's the one!

I was very hesitant about hiring a financial advisor but took the plunge with Talisman. It was 100% the right move and I regret not doing it sooner. Jennifer was able to take all the random accounts I provided and was provide me with a cohesive investment strategy that was in line with my goals. Jennifer speaks with me and truly listens to my needs and provides several options for me to choose from. Now my finances are working for me and just to be sure, we meet quarterly to review my portfolio or more frequently if I need to discuss an investment with her. You will feel confident with your investment strategy working with Talisman.

Frank (and his partner, Jenn) have been helping my wife and I manage our investments and plan for our future retirement for about six years. They have listened to our vision for our future and ask a lot of questions to make sure we’re considering things we hadn’t necessarily thought of (such as long-term care insurance) and work out a plan to help us reach our goals. They are very patient in explaining the thought process behind their plan and always make time to hop on a call to talk about questions we have or potential changes to our vision. He has also taken time on several occasions to offer advice on investments that he’s not managing for us.

Jenn has been an incredible advisor, guiding me through both marriage and divorce over the past 10 years with equal grace and strategic insight. Her non-judgmental approach and ability to meet me exactly where I am have been invaluable. She doesn't overwhelm with financial jargon; instead, she speaks in layman's terms and is clear, patient, and compassionate.
From the start, her approach has been completely personalized—she took the time (a lot of time!) to understand exactly what matters most to me personally, rather than giving me conventional advice or a one-size-fits-all plan. For over 30 years Frank has guided me in my investments, so that now I am secure in my retirement. He always gives me clear explanations. He has my best interests at heart, and I trust him completely. Frank allays any anxieties I may have. He goes “above and beyond the call of duty.” For example, he put me in touch with a lawyer to help me draw up a will, and he recently help me freeze my credit when my Social Security number was exposed in a data breach. Frank has been very helpful, and I am indeed grateful to him.

First and foremost, Jennifer knows her stuff. I know my money is in the best of hands with her. But what really sets her apart is the individual attention and care she brings to her clients. There is no cookie cutter here.
Jennifer started by learning what was important to ME specifically. She speaks not in financial jargon, but in real life language, helping me to clarify what I want my life to look like in 5, 10, 20, 30 years. Then she explained what needs to happen financially to get me there - patiently, with total transparency. She sparked my curiosity about the process, and my determination to understand and maximize my investment strategy.
She is both a fantastic listener AND communicator - a rare quality in a financial advisor. She is flexible and non-judgmental. She has become an integral part of my Life Team - it's like she's my own personal finance director, and I feel like she cares as much about getting me to my goals as I do. I have recommended her to everyone I know. There really is no one else out there who brings such a combination of emotional intelligence, financial knowledge, care, passion, and empathy to this job.
