Four years ago, we set out on a hunt to find a financial advisor we could trust. Among 5 meetings with different companies, Luis (Tuyyo Planning Group) instantly stood out -- he spent the time to get to know us and our goals while the others felt transactional at best.
We couldn't be more thrilled with the financial guidance we've received from Tuyyo Planning Group since then. As a young, certified professional with a strong focus on family values, he took the time to understand our goals and helped us set up a comprehensive long-term financial plan, including support for both of our parents entering their retirement phase of life.

Luis is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He's patient with people who do not have extensive experience with financial planning. He's also really practical. We've found him to be thorough and organized in his approach to providing advice. My experience with Tuyyo Planning Group has been superb from the very first time that I spoke with Luis Guardia over the phone to schedule my appointment with him up to this day!
Each meeting with Luis has allowed me to feel more comfortable, informed, and confident when making the financial decisions discussed with him. His financial expertise and my financial needs and unique situation came together and he ethically, transparently, carefully, effectively, efficiently, professionally, worked with me to plan a solid, effective, and efficient financial plan.
He is a great listener which is a rare skill these days. Luis has made sure that he integrates what matters most to me financially and which is also financially sound. I appreciate the extra time that he has taken on various occasions to explain or discuss something that is unclear to me and the time to work with me in the planning of other financial aspects. The whole experience has been great, respectful, professional, and at the same time, has had the human touch of kindness and his family.

I followed my wonderful financial advisor Brendan Pheasant to this group and have been very happy with the professional fit and the services they provide. Above all, they are honest and disclose up front all fees, services, expectations by both their company and of the investor. I value the fact that they believe that financial decisions are significantly made with emotional reasons for investors and all persons. They educate and talk about the reasons behind a person's financial decisions. The best part is that they have training in financial therapy and understand that a person's financial picture does not just include that person, but also the family and anyone else who is at least relationally connected. They work with different levels of financial readiness and income. They are not stuffy in the least and very approachable which I didn't expect about a financial advisor when I started with Brendan over 5 years ago. I would recommend this group to everybody.

My wife and I have been clients of Tuyyo Planning Group since 2019. During that time Luis Guardia, and more recently in collaboration with his colleague Brendan Pheasant, have guided us through periods of our final years of accumulating assets for retirement, of transitioning from working to being retired, of now managing those assets in retirement, and of planning for what may lie ahead as we age. Throughout each of these phases of our relationship, Tuyyo has shown great care in ensuring that they understood and addressed our personal concerns and goals regarding our investment portfolio. Their approach to investment management is thoughtful, studious, and disciplined (even when my own inclinations may have been none of those). Additionally, we have found their customer service to be everything we could have hoped for, always courteous and timely in response to our needs. We look forward to our association with Tuyyo Planning Group continuing for many years to come.

We became one of the first clients of Tuyyo Planning Group. The first review of our financial status was an eye opening experience. The huge sense of relief that I felt at that moment was amazing. Not only he showed us we were in a good place…..he continuous to help us make financial decisions, ensuring our future will be even better. We have learned so much from Luis. I now take time to advise young friends to get a good fiduciary financial advisor to evaluate their current financial status and plan their retirement expectations! We've been working with Luis for a couple of years now. We consider his knowledge, advice, and proactiveness to be worth every penny we pay for it. In our first year, he'd already saved us enough money that even after paying him, we were coming out ahead. He also spotted a minor goof made by our tax guy that could have snowballed and come back to bite us if it had gone unnoticed until retirement. Best of all, Luis genuinely listens, and understands that the role of money is not just to gather more of it, but that its best use is to support your true goals and values.

We were relieved to meet Luis while searching for a fiduciary.
Most of the other folks we interviewed didn't seem to listen to our questions and spoke above and around us. Luis asks us the questions and he genuinely listens. He is also thorough with his responses to our questions. We feel comfortable speaking with Luis, he has not pushed any products or services. He is prompt in returning emails and phone calls.
His streamlined approach to organization and consolidation is efficient. We enjoy and appreciate the short videos he produces in response to some of our questions. We have implemented most of Luis's recommendations over the past few months and are pleased with his guidance, experience and expertise. We would recommend Luis for anyone that is looking to optimize their financial goals.

Luis is a responsive, empathetic, and realistic financial planner. My previous financial planner was focused solely on investment advice, but I needed someone to help me create a budget, reduce my debt, and invest in sustainable and affordable funds. I enjoyed my meeting with Luis, because he was friendly and helped me relax while he listened intently as I described some sensitive personal financial issues. He then offered knowledgeable and helpful and very professional advice for my situation, especially regarding Social Security issues. He also offered pointers for my young son, who just turned 21, starting out in life for which Luis offered some excellent solid, bedrock advice and some great financial tools to help build this young man's future. Luis also was able to refer me to a wonderful, very professional knowledgeable and helpful tax advisor. I strongly recommend Luis to anyone who needs any form or category of financial advice, big or small, he makes time for everyone and in a very friendly (not-about-the-fee money-way).

I reached out to Tuyyo Planning Group to inquire about financial planning services - we've never done this before and had no idea what to expect. Luis took the time to meet with us virtually and guided us toward some big quick wins for our financial situation that we hadn't considered before. Luis is responsive, professional, and knows his stuff! He also uses great planning software that clients have access to.

My husband and I reached out to Luis recently to talk about the CARES act and rolling my 403(b) into an IRA after I lost my job due to COVID-19. He contacted us about an hour after we reached out and was available to give us some advice that same day. I felt immediately at ease with Luis as he was trustworthy, informational and demonstrated real care and concern for us.
