About Angel Escobedo, CFP®
Hi, I'm Angel Escobedo CFP®I have worked in the financial services industry since January 2018 after attaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. My primary goal as a financial planner is to help my clients light a financial path to dignity, awareness, hope, and a worry-free life. My experience working with both large broker-dealers and small family offices has allowed me to create a financial planning experience that is both personal and actionable, allowing the client to achieve complete financial peace of mind.
I am an active volunteer in VITA, a nonprofit program that helps low-income individuals get their taxes filed free of charge. Being involved in this program to help give back to the community is something I take pride in.
I enjoy being active and trying out new locally-owned restaurants, breweries, theaters, and other local businesses in my free time.
I've been a numbers guy my whole life, so I like percentages; here are some about me: I am part of the 5.4% of advisors under the age of 35, part of the 3.5% of Black/Latino CFPs in the country, part of the 1% of CFP advisors that speak Spanish, and most importantly I have a 95% client retention rate over the span of my career.

About Fiduciary Financial Advisors
Fiduciary Financial Advisors is an independent financial planning and wealth management firm founded on the core principles of combining lower-cost investment management with robust financial and retirement planning to help our clients navigate financial life.A few things to know about us:
Our Philosophy
Math wins. We are a value-focused firm that seeks to remain as prudent as possible at all times in both investing and financial planning decisions. Our firm credo is “In God we trust, everyone else must bring data.” (credit to Edward Deming)
Fees/costs
We do not recommend commission-based investment products but instead focus on fee-only advice for our investment management service.
To protect our client's best interests, we have a maximum annual advisory fee of 0.95%, regardless of asset size, which may decrease depending on portfolio size or scope of work. This means our clients get a great deal compared with national averages (as measured by the most recent State of Retail Wealth Management published by PriceMetrix*). We proactively attempt to mitigate fees and expenses where possible.
Our clients
Our clients are primarily individuals, families, companies, and foundations. We primarily work with people who are feeling one (or more) of these:
Not sure how much you pay in investment fees or commissions (we have a rule: if you don’t know how much you pay, it’s too much! It’s true almost every time)
Not satisfied with the frequency or type of communication you currently receive
You're putting money away, but still not sure where you will end up come retirement.
Frustrated with a lack of transparency or clarity about your investments
I want to learn more about how to become a better investor, but I don't want to take on a second career.
Many of our Financial Advisors have developed specializations focused on serving particular types of clients. This allows clients with specific needs to find just the right Advisor. To learn about our specialty disciplines, visit the Who We Serve page.
Account size
We have a wide variety of Financial Advisors and as such, we work with investors of all sizes. Some of our Advisors focus on earlier career families while others work with families with at least $2 million in investable assets. At a firm level, we do not believe in investment minimums. However, that does not mean we take on everyone. Like you, we want a relationship based on trust and respect; two qualities that have nothing to do with how much money you have.
Education
Texas Tech University: Bachelors of Science in Personal Financial Planning
Volunteer Experience
VITA: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Assistance is provided at community and neighborhood centers, libraries, schools, shopping malls, and other convenient locations.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
