About Anthony Bucci
Hi I'm Tony Bucci. I founded Mission Point Planning in 2013 with a clear mission: to provide federal law enforcement officers with the specialized retirement guidance they deserve. Like many of our clients, I believe in the power of continuous learning and specialized experience. That’s why I’ve spent the last 20 years focused on understanding every detail of federal law enforcement benefits and retirement planning. My path here wasn’t traditional. After years in marketing and leadership roles at firms like AXA Advisors and Blue Water Financial Group, I realized there was a critical gap in the financial industry. Federal law enforcement officers weren’t getting the specialized retirement guidance their unique situation demanded. I knew I could serve them better.
Today, I’m a regular contributor to FedSmith, one of the largest federal employee publications in the country, where I share insights about federal benefits and retirement planning. But my greatest satisfaction comes from helping federal law enforcement officers successfully transition to their next mission in life.
Outside the office, I’m blessed with a growing family in Lake Orion, including my wife Alana, three daughters (Ava, Millie, and Ruby), and our family pets. We’re former Detroit residents who still love spending time in the city, whether it’s shopping at Eastern Market or running along the riverfront. I’m an avid reader (yes, Audible counts), and I’m always pursuing new challenges—from learning to sail to exploring national parks.
A Few Things About Me:
▪️ Favorite Book: “For Whom the Bell Tolls” – It’s about duty, service, and doing what’s right
▪️ Bucket List: Learning a new language, climbing a 20,000-foot peak, becoming an excellent cook
▪️ Secret to Success: It’s about embracing the daily grind—choosing the important over the easy, priorities over feelings, and people over things
▪️ Guiding Philosophy: “Money is only a tool. It will take you where you wish but won’t replace the driver.”
▪️ Best Part of My Job: Seeing the peace of mind our clients get when they know their retirement is secure
▪️ Most Admired Historical Figures: Major Richard Winters, Winston Churchill, JFK
“Making a difference and being a positive force in people’s lives is the only thing that matters, to me, our team, and this firm. When it comes to financial matters, opinions often masquerade as facts. That’s a dangerous thing.” - Tony Bucci

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
