Our Mission: Create Value
Our mission is to create value for you by helping you create the plans to protect, conserve, grow, and transfer your family and individual wealth and the disciplined investment and wealth management strategies to support your plans. We dedicate our actions and resources to working on the front lines every day helping you manage your wealth and the related processes and tasks that help you stay the course.
Our Most Important Rankings
It’s not about the firm and how big it is. It’s about long-term client success. One client at a time.
Many large investment and advisory firms lead with and promote the billions of assets they have under management as a core strength to close new business and drive the growth and value of their firms.
We don’t share that obsession.
We designed and built Intelligent Capitalworks to cultivate core professional advisor strengths to better serve families and individuals and help them accomplish more. We are committed to better, deeper, more focused and more present relationships.
As of January 31, 2025, our average client tenure is 16+ years, and we have worked for over 25 years for 34% of our clients, including relationships established prior to the formation of Intelligent Capitalworks in 2005.
What We Do
▪️ We position you as the CEO of your wealth. It’s your wealth, so we position you as the highest-ranking member of your wealth management team, responsible for setting the agenda and delegating responsibilities to C-Suite professionals. The best CEOs recruit and hire proven, accomplished C-Suite professionals.
▪️ Our C-Suite professionals join your team. We are professionals whose titles begin with C, meaning the “chiefs” who get things done. This is the group of people with the most important roles to help you as CEO. We have decades of deep experience advising wealthy families with complex financial needs.
▪️ Together, we focus on your desired results. We help you get your capital working intelligently for you.
What Distinguishes Us
We do the work.
Spend a short time on our website and this will become apparent. This is what doing wealth management looks like. There’s a big difference between saying and doing. Ask yourself, are my advisors really doing this for me? If they are, you’d know it.
We built our firm to be able to provide a select number of families and individuals with a dedicated wealth management team with the intellectual capital, resources and capabilities to help them more successfully manage many disciplines and dimensions of their wealth.

To make Wealthtender free for readers, we earn a nominal monthly fee from financial advisors and firms in exchange for marketing services (including being featured on this profile page), subject to terms of use. This compensation creates a natural conflict of interest when we favor their promotion over others. Wealthtender is not a client of these advisors or firms. Testimonials may not be representative of other clients’ experiences and do not guarantee future performance or success.
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
