Hi, I’m Darin Kight, and I’ve learned that every financial plan starts with a story. Mine began in a completely different field—over 20 years in IT, solving complex problems and ensuring systems ran smoothly. Along the way, I realized that my love for problem-solving wasn’t limited to technology. I’d always been fascinated by personal finance—budgeting, investing, and finding smarter ways to build a secure future.When I became a father of three, planning for my own family’s future gave those numbers and strategies new meaning. I understood how overwhelming it could feel to balance today’s demands with tomorrow’s dreams, whether that’s saving for college, preparing for retirement, or simply finding peace of mind.

Darin worked in IT for many years, but his calling was always helping others financially, me being one. He frequently studied the field long before he decided he would formally educate himself and get certified. And he was almost too gleeful in sharing what he learned and what he recommended. There are many student workers at the college he formerly worked at that are all too familiar with his impromptu lectures on investing and why "now is the time to start". You'll be hard-pressed to find another advisor that will be willing to go the extra 10 miles to make sure you have the best plan and have an understanding of that plan. He truly cares about you, not only financially, but as a person. And that is reflected in any interaction you'll have with him. Give him a shot, you won't be disappointed.

First off, let me say that you will be hard pressed to find a financial advisor with more energy than Darin. Think well dressed man who genuinely loves talking finances, rate of return and personal philosophy, but who also loves a good double espresso. I've talked with many advisors and some of them just do not have the vibe or energy that make me think they're in it for the long haul. This energy makes him come across as genuine and hardworking. Darin is the type of individual who will help with financial recommendations and decisions, but then put on old work jeans to help cut limbs out of your yard after a storm. This line of work is rife with folks who say "call me anytime, day or night", but Darin will actually answer the phone.
