Gina Jacobson works with clients to provide investment management and financial planning advice. She has been working in wealth management since 2016.
Thanks to her landlord who told her that there was a need for more women in finance, Gina found her passion for empowering women by providing them personal financial tools and guidance. Nothing brings her more joy than giving her clients confidence in their long-term financial plans. When she’s not acting as a financial cheerleader for her clients, Gina enjoys competitive powerlifting, listening to live music or curling up with a good book.

About Vision Capital Management
The Vision Capital Management story begins in 1999 with a mother and her daughter wanting to offer their clients something different: a wealth management firm where relationships matter and clients’ needs come before all else.
Today, we are an established, independent, employee-owned financial advisor with an unwavering commitment to our clients and their assets.
Our team is a group of smart, energetic individuals motivated to help you make the most of your finances.
As financial advisors, we believe our job is to provide a comfortable space for our clients to learn and have the tough conversations necessary to achieve their financial goals.
What We Offer
As an independent, fee-only financial advisor, we aren’t incentivized to recommend specific types of investments and are free to design a low-cost investment strategy targeted to your specific vision for the future.
We believe your investment strategy should reflect your financial goals which is why our financial planning services are included in our investment management fee.
Our Story
Our collaborative and team-oriented culture started with our founders, Sue McGrath and Marina Johnson. Driven to create something different, this mother-daughter team founded Vision Capital Management in 1999. They established the firm as a Registered Investment Advisor because they believed that the best and most transparent investment advice occurs only when we report directly, and only, to our clients.
From the start, our values centered on providing outstanding client service; the kind of service where our clients call us for just about anything on their to-do list. Each and every client relationship represents our values hard at work; we are their partners and driven only by the motivation to provide the best and most transparent investment management and financial planning services.
We start by listening. We want to understand our clients’ visions of their future based on their aspirations. The next step is to put together a plan that will help make these dreams come true and hopes fulfilled. Lastly we focus on working on the plan. No detail is too small.
Our firm is employee-owned and majority female-owned. Not only do we bring abundant expertise and a client-centric focus to the table, but we genuinely enjoy what we do. We look forward to speaking with you.

To make Wealthtender free for readers, we earn a nominal monthly fee from financial advisors and firms in exchange for marketing services (including being featured on this profile page), subject to terms of use. This compensation creates a natural conflict of interest when we favor their promotion over others. Wealthtender is not a client of these advisors or firms. Testimonials may not be representative of other clients’ experiences and do not guarantee future performance or success.
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
