About John Ehrenfeld, CFP®, EA, BFA™
Hi, I'm John Ehrenfeld, Founder and Wealth Manager of Your Path Wealth Management.I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Enrolled Agent (EA), and Behavioral Financial Advisor™ (BFA™), with a BSBA in Finance from Valparaiso, Indiana. I'm a Fee-Only Network and NAPFA-registered Financial Advisor and a Member of XY Planning Network. I am a Fiduciary.
At 16, while working as a bank teller helping a recent widow balance her checkbook, I discovered that helping people with money was my calling. Since joining the industry in 2006, I have worked with hundreds of families to navigate life events, maximize their plans, and ultimately enjoy life instead of worrying about money.
After two decades across multiple firms — seeing the conflicts, the minimums, the overlooked clients — I knew there was a better way. So, I built it. I started Your Path because I believe every generation deserves access to real, honest, planning-first financial guidance — not just those who already have wealth.
I saw curious and well-educated under-served generations, in need of planning-so I started Your Path Wealth Management. I was ready to do it a better way, focusing on partnership, honesty, and empathy.

About Your Path Wealth Management
Your Path Wealth Management is a fee-only, fiduciary financial planning firm serving Bloomington, MN and clients nationwide. No commissions, no products to sell — just honest, personalized guidance for your financial future.Who We Serve
We specialize in helping individuals and families find their path to a richer financial life, with a particular focus on millennials, pre-retirees, and retirees. Many of our clients have been doing things themselves but worry about the cost of making a mistake, or simply want a partner who understands their full financial picture.
Our Philosophy
We believe wealth management is about much more than just investments — it's about aligning your resources with your values so you can live the life you want today. We start with your life goals, not your bank balance, and turn abstract goals into a detailed roadmap you can actually follow and measure. With ongoing planning, we stress-test your plan through multiple scenarios to reduce the uncertainty of "what-ifs," and we adjust strategies as your goals, income, family needs, and market conditions change.
Why Work With Us
We care about your life — your goals, your fears, your "why" — and believe the numbers should follow from that, not the other way around. We work best with clients who want to understand their finances, not necessarily do it all themselves, but know enough to feel confident in the decisions they're making.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
