I was referred to Abundo for help managing my father’s estate after his passing in April. In our initial meeting, DJ spent over an hour with me and my sister, helping us understand the forms we had to fill out, make good choices, and get things in line quickly. It was an emotional and overwhelming time and DJ made it as easy and painless as possible. I’ve now signed on for additional coaching with him. I’m excited to see how my inheritance and savings can grow and improve over time with his help. So far, his patience and support has made me feel more comfortable making decisions and taking action.

5 milllion stars if I could. Seriously. It is difficult to express how grateful I am to Abundo, and specifically, to Olivia, my planner ("partner" "guide" "mentor" "total pro" "champion" feel like words I could also use here). Abundo is advice-only, not percentage based. They aren't making money off of your (my) ignorance or naivete - which is what big financial institutions are up to. If you are cross-eyed by the complexity of budgets, student debt, retirement, HSAs /FSAs, crypto, types of investments, mortgages, the stock exchange, taxes etc, Abundo brings clarity, empowerment, kindness, and strategy to all of it.
Process: You''ll start by expressing your personal values and vision. Your Abundo bestie will help you align your personal finances accordingly.
Advice to anyone reading this: Take that money you spent on UberEats last month and spend it on Abundo.
Back story: I came to Abundo by way of my online teachers (Delyanne B., Ramit S., Tiffany A., etc): a great group of voices dismantling the gatekeeping around financial literacy. If you know them, you know the vibe.

Abundo wealth has made planning for retirement understandable and easy. We have been working with DJ on our retirement and budget and he has been excellent explaining things and meeting us where we are at. It is the first time I actually feel comfortable with knowing when to retire and how we will make it work. He is so personable and it is wonderful not feeling pressure to buy into an annuity. DJ is available for as much time as I need with just one flat fee. I feel he is there for us and no question is too small. What a breath of fresh air!!

Really can't say enough about Abundo! I've met with the founder, Eric, Sarah is my financial advisor, and Rikki did my intake. They all have been wonderful. I've already learned SO much on everything from their "simple but elegant" Abundo 3 Fund Portfolio system to Sarah advising me on my decision to sell my house and much more. I've been blown away by the amount of time she spends with me...and with their advising it looks like I can feel comfortable retiring early! Plus, the Right Capital software they give you access to is super fun and smart and enables me to run different scenarios to see my probably success for achieving my financial and retirement goals. Don't hesitate. Give them a go!

Excellent help at an excellent price.
I was a DIY personal finance guy for decades, following a 'Bogleheads' type of approach, at least in principle. I naively thought that financial decisions would get easier around retirement time, kids through college, etc. I was very wrong about that.
After much research and talking with a bunch of firms, including the big, low-cost Usual Suspects, we decided to try working with Abundo Wealth a little over a year ago. It's a low risk decision to try them out: they follow a low-cost, advice-only model for their services. So if you don't like it, you drop it. It's literally that simple.
As it happened, we were not happy with our first advisor at Abundo, though we could see that the model had great promise. We said that we wanted to try someone else - see if it worked better. The founder reached out to get the details on the issues we had experienced and was great and supportive about helping with a switch. He recommended we try working with Olivia, one of their financial planners.
To put it simply, Olivia is fantastic. And Abundo suits our needs right now very, very well. We now have truly responsive, buttoned up, expert advice and guidance on the complete array of financial questions and doubts that I had before we joined up with Abundo. And Abundo's investment philosophy, in my experience, is squarely in line with the Boglehead approach (low cost, index-fund driven, simple, diversified, ride-out the dips, etc). I love that they never take "possession" of our assets - they just give us great advice about what we should do with them. Heck, if you're not certain how to implement something that Abundo has suggested, they'll even jump on line with you while you're in your brokerage's web site and walk you through, screen by screen. It gives you a safety net if things get tricky to figure out.
And let's say I want to manage our finances some other way next month: I just cancel with Abundo and go my merry way. Nothing to liquidate, nothing to transfer. All of our assets have been in our hands all along. Abundo charges its very inexpensive fee on a monthly basis, like paying for most typical services. All of this make it a great model for folks that feel reasonably comfortable doing financial transactions but find themselves having important questions they'd like expert advice on.
All that said, I would love to see Abundo offer a second tier of service someday, where we could authorize them to directly do the (infrequent) trading on our behalf, should we wish to do that. That would take care of those of us who are uncomfortable-with or uninterested-in learning how to work the gears of financial institutions.

We placed our trust in Abunbo Wealth just under a year ago and could not be happier. I will be retiring this November and Jeremy's advice has been fantastic. While I am generally comfortable making my own investment decisions, my knowledge regarding the retirement transition (Medicare, Social Security, Roth conversions, etc) was lacking. Jeremy has provided clear and concise guidance and reasoning throughout the entire process. Abundo invested the time and effort to thoroughly understand our financial goals, concerns, and risk tolerance. The result is nothing short of amazing.
We had been using Creative Planning for a number of years before switching to Abundo. While we were generally happy with CP's service and advice, their fees were nearly 10 times what we pay for Abundo. A move to Fisher would have generated fees in excess of $90,000 annually. IMO the AUM (Assets Under Management) model is one of the last corrupt vestiges of the personal financial services industry.
Abundo's overall advice and value are second to none. If you are comfortable being actively involved and working side-by-side with an equal partner on your personal financial journey, look no further.

Maggie has been the perfect blend of a fee-only financial planner and "financial therapist," engaging us in conversations about our goals, risk tolerance, and what really matters to us. She has a gift for asking the right questions to help us dig deeper and gain clarity. I also love Abundo's model – a very affordable flat monthly fee that eliminates the conflicts of interest common with traditional percentage-based advisors. It's transparent, fair, and aligns perfectly with their focus on providing personalized, client-first advice.

My Abundo advisor has helped me a lot with great advice and (when I want it) hand holding! He is available whenever I need something and we meet regularly. I never feel pressured, only supported.
I started the relationship before I retired and he helped me transition into being retired. That process can feel somewhat overwhelming and having an experienced sounding board was very helpful.
Maybe the best part is that I’m paying a flat fee instead of a percentage that could cost me a staggering amount over time. He’s available whenever and it’s covered by that monthly fee! I recommend them for whatever stage of your investing journey you are on.

I used Abundo to help me line up my investments so they were simple and easy to maintain. They also helped create a basic roadmap for cleaning up messy accounts and roll overs from other employers. My advisor was extremely helpful and accommodating.
I felt the price was well worth the advice. I will use them in the future if things get more complex. I trust these guys and my advisor was into financial independence which was really important to my goals. Well worth it!

My partner and I have been working with Abundo for about 9 months now, and it has been such a great experience. We work with Olivia who has been wonderful from the start. She took the time to get to know us and tailor suggestions and recommendations that fit our financial goals. A lot of the information presented was new to me, but not to my partner, so she really took the time to explain things and answer all my questions. She never made me feel uncomfortable for not being expert on the subject. It's been such a good balance of support for both our needs.

I have been working with Jeremy for a couple months now, and already I feel so much more in control of my finances. Jeremy has been so helpful, kind and patient in this process of helping me to understand and implement the steps to get a solid financial plan underway, which has included setting up an investment plan, saving for a new car, and beginning to plan for a career change - things that had been previously causing me a lot of anxiety! Accessibility has been amazing, as it's super easy to schedule meetings on the fly as questions arise, and I never feel like a nuisance, which is nice.. because I have a lot of questions!

Ive been working with Andrew for a few months now and I am extremely satisfied with Abundo Wealth. They changed the way I look at personal finance, and I feel like I am further ahead and more confident than I was before I started working with Abundo.
I am both surprised and not surprised that this concept doesn't really exist outside of Abundo. There are less conspicuous ways of making money as a financial advisor than Abundos transparent fee system, And when I try to share my excitement in personal finance with friends, Abundos transparent fee system can scare them away. But the funny thing is, they are paying considerably more for their financial advisors, whether that's in percentages of investments, or whether it's in their financial advisors leading them in a direction towards their own self-interest.
Well I have a decent understanding of personal finance, Andrew helps me stay on track, take action instead of procrastinating financial action, and double checks my decision making.
There's so many companies out there with hidden fees and obscure pricing systems, it's a relief to work with someone and know exactly what they're getting from you up front, so you know that the decisions that you are making with your personal finances are unbiased and in your own best interest.

Working with Andrew at Abundo has exceeded my expectations! Abundo has the perfect business model for a DIY investor like me who simply wants an informed financial planner to talk things over with. Andrew thoroughly answers all of my questions, and he makes important suggestions for me to ponder while I retain full control of my finances.
Although I initially wondered if I would have access to advice on a limited schedule, in reality, I am able to schedule appointments to discuss financial questions and concerns as frequently as I want to. Andrew is extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful, and he explains things in a way that is easy to understand. The Right Capital financial planning software Abundo uses is user friendly, and I have full access to all of its charts, graphs, and reports for a complete financial picture.
I have never been willing to pay a percentage of my assets for a Financial Planner .This is the type of financial advice I have been waiting for. I recommend Abundo without hesitation if Flat Fee Financial Planning appeals to you!

The folks at Abundo have found the secret solution for a mixed marriage of an investment DIYer with someone who wants an ongoing financial planning resource. We've tried other planners before, but we're a tough combo. Working with Eric seems like the perfect balance.
I love that Eric is supportive but also challenges our traditional ideas with new planning strategies. He brings new ideas to us and helps educate us, but never makes us feel bad about what we've done in the past. While he's presenting ideas and strategies nothing is high pressure, so we're making adjustments at a pace we're comfortable with. I feel so much better about our future already!

Abundo crushes it!!! If you are using any other company for your financial advice you definitely need to chat with the Abundo crew ASAP!! Number one, they are turning the financial services industry upside down! Number two, they have fair and transparent fees unlike other advisors that charge you on a percentage of your assets which is NOT cool. the bottom line is that Abundo totally cares about their clients and are a true fiduciary at a fair fee! I have the pleasure of personally knowing Eric. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the field of finance, but he is also incredibly personable and easy to interact with. Eric and his team are very passionate about their work and genuinely care about your financial well-being. Moreover, I think that Abundo is very innovative in the advisory market, filling several gaps that the US market currently has, such as:
- 360-degree planning for expats who work in the US
- People who are planning to retire elsewhere in the world.
For the above cases, tax implications can be very complicated, and I definitely recommend having the help of someone who is an expert in the field, like Eric and his team.

Abundo Wealth has been our financial planner over a year. They have helped us with every financial question possible. They are a super cool group of people who legitimately want you to succeed. But one of the coolest things as an avid traveler is that they will also make sure you are getting the most perks from your flight deals, credit card points, and anything that involves traveling expenses. They don't only answer your questions whenever you reach out to them. They proactively inform you about changes, rates, etc as they see fit with your financial goals and plans. AND they have a reasonable monthly rate with no hidden fees. They deserve all the stars!

Andrew and Eric take an innovative approach to charging for their services. The flat rate charge is much less expensive than other financial planners we checked - and good luck actually getting a straight answer on charges from other financial planners. Another thing I really like is the fact that you don't "shove all your chips" to their firm. They help guide you in your current investments. The tools they provide are very interactive and provides a clear picture of your financial future. You can be as "hands on" as you choose to be with these tools. I've been working with them for a little over a year and they've provided wise financial advice and I feel they take a personal interest in my future.
