Hi, I'm Paul Saad. I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and the Principal Co-founder of Collabria Capital, Inc., a San Ramon-based fee-only fiduciary financial planning firm serving the Bay Area and virtual clients nationwide.
With over 20 years of experience, I help mid- to late-career professionals make confident decisions about retirement, stock options, and tax strategies. Over the years, I’ve met too many hardworking professionals who’ve done all the “right” things financially but still feel unsure about their future. My goal is to bring clarity and confidence to that picture.
Originally from Montreal, I moved to the Bay Area in 1997 and quickly came to appreciate the unique blend of innovation, opportunity, and complexity that defines life here. Having raised three kids, I understand firsthand how financial priorities evolve — from career growth and family needs to preparing for a more flexible, fulfilling next chapter.
For me, financial planning has always been about more than numbers — it’s about creating the freedom to focus on what truly matters.
Outside of work, I can be found hiking, playing guitar, spending time with family, and volunteering for non-profit organizations.

About Collabria Capital, Inc
At Collabria Capital, we believe financial planning should be more than just numbers—it should bring clarity, confidence, and peace of mind for you and your family. A few things set us apart:
Specialization in Bay Area professionals
We deeply understand the unique challenges mid-to late-career tech employees face—stock options, RSUs, ESPPs, deferred compensation, and concentrated equity positions. That focus allows us to provide highly tailored strategies around tax efficiency, diversification, and retirement readiness.
Holistic, family-focused planning
Our work extends beyond investments. We look at the full picture—retirement, taxes, estate planning, education funding, insurance, and multi-generational planning—to make sure your wealth serves your life and values.
Independent, fiduciary advice
As a fee-only firm, we don’t accept commissions or have sales incentives. Our only priority is what’s best for you. Every recommendation is rooted in your goals, not in product sales.
Personal and collaborative approach
You’ll work directly with me, Paul Saad, CFP®, MBA. I take the time to really know you, your family, and your priorities, and we collaborate closely so your plan evolves with life’s changes.
Tax-sensitive investment management
Living and working in California comes with a high tax burden. We emphasize tax-efficient investing, proactive planning, and smart withdrawal strategies to help you keep more of what you earn.
In short, we bring the sophistication of institutional planning with the personal care of a boutique practice—helping you simplify complexity and move forward with confidence.

To make Wealthtender free for readers, we earn a nominal monthly fee from financial advisors and firms in exchange for marketing services (including being featured on this profile page), subject to terms of use. This compensation creates a natural conflict of interest when we favor their promotion over others. Wealthtender is not a client of these advisors or firms. Testimonials may not be representative of other clients’ experiences and do not guarantee future performance or success.
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
