About Sharmon Tourjee

Sharmon Tourjee began her career in the accounting industry after earning a B.S. in Accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University. Early in her career, she worked as a controller, and after passing the CPA exam, she transitioned into public accounting to fulfill the certification requirements. Before finishing those hours, she and her husband decided it was best for her to step back from the workforce to raise their growing family.

While raising her four sons, she built a successful bookkeeping business that gave her the flexibility to stay actively involved in her kids’ lives while continuing to do meaningful work she enjoyed. Over the past 25 years, Sharmon has gained broad experience supporting small businesses across every aspect of their operations. One of those businesses specializes in training financial planners to help clients navigate the human side of significant life transitions. Witnessing the profound impact these planners had on people’s lives inspired her to pursue this path herself once her children were older.

Her personal financial journey also shapes the way she serves clients. She and her husband began strong, saving diligently in their 401(k)s and making wise decisions in their 20s. But like many families, life’s challenges took her family off course financially. Through perseverance and discipline, they found their way back on track. That experience deepened her understanding of what it takes to overcome setbacks and fueled her passion to guide others through their own financial journeys.

Now, with more than 30 years of marriage and decades of professional experience, Sharmon’s mission as a financial planner is to help young families, working adults, and small business owners build lasting financial security, and—when possible—achieve the freedom to retire early. And once they have retired, assist them in navigating their financial lives with a helping hand.

Sharmon is currently working on obtaining her CFP® certification. She works closely with Leslie Trowbridge, CFP®. She is registered to assist clients in Florida and in other states, where allowed.
