Hi, I'm Taylor Stewart. I'm a financial planner, wealth manager, and author.
I founded Ataroke Wealth based on two core beliefs.
The first is that people just want to make the most of their money. What that means is they want to feel like they’re being intentional, like they’ve considered all of their options, and they’re doing the best that they can. They want to know that they’re putting the right amount of money to work in the right places to be able to do what is important to them. Or as one client put it, “I just don’t want to do anything stupid.”
I also believe that people want help with this but they don’t often get help because they feel like they’re just going to get sold something. That’s why I started Ataroke, to be able to help people make the most of their money without all of the sales BS and conflicts of interest that have become so common in our industry.
I've had the privilege of growing up in the world of financial planning. As a child, I would tag along with my father, a financial advisor, and I can remember sitting in on my first client meeting when I was just a little taller than the table.
This industry has always held a special place in my heart. It's not just a job to me; it's a profession I deeply care about, shaped by a lifelong admiration. In fact, before becoming an advisor in 2016, I believed it was the second noblest profession, right after doctors.
However, I soon discovered that the rest of the world doesn't always share this sentiment. That bothered me, and it sparked the creation of Ataroke—a firm dedicated to putting the advice back into Advisor.
I’m grateful for the experiences that led to this point. I learned what an advisor has to say about money during countless conversations at the dinner table as a child. I learned what the textbooks had to say about money in college, earning undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance and a graduate degree in Accounting. I then learned what businesses had to say about money as an auditor at PwC, where I also learned how to think critically and skeptically. Finally, I learned the difference between what the textbooks and businesses say about money and what real people care about money as an Investment Advisor at Macro Wealth Advisors.
Throughout this journey, I also realized that life is unpredictable. It has its ups and downs, its share of tragedies and triumphs. But that's what makes it exciting. The ability to adapt to change is essential for both personal growth and financial planning.
I consider myself fortunate to have found my professional purpose—helping people improve their relationship with money and make better financial decisions. Ataroke is my way of pursuing that purpose. I approach it just like I do my personal life—a continuous cycle of action, learning from failures, reflecting, and striving for improvement. Progress, not perfection, is my guiding principle.

To make Wealthtender free for readers, we earn a nominal monthly fee from financial advisors and firms in exchange for marketing services (including being featured on this profile page), subject to terms of use. This compensation creates a natural conflict of interest when we favor their promotion over others. Wealthtender is not a client of these advisors or firms. Testimonials may not be representative of other clients’ experiences and do not guarantee future performance or success.
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
