About Jeffrey Walters, CFP®, EA
Hi, I'm Jeff Walters, founder of Advisia Financial Planning.I started my career as a financial advisor in the midst of the dot com crash. Over the next 22 years I helped hundreds of individuals, families, and small business owners navigate their financial lives, create a successful retirement, and invest their life savings.
In 2022, at age 45, I did something unusual and tried out retirement for myself. This season allowed quality family time, learning, and growth that would not have been possible with my prior schedule.
I also learned that pursuing meaningful work can have a profound impact on the lives of other people. While I wouldn’t change anything about the past, I don't think I will retire again until and unless age and health overtake me. Genesis 2:15
I might be one of the few financial advisors out there who has actual experience with retirement!
I am building a different type of financial planning firm that hopefully will be able to help many people who are not currently well served by the wealth management industry.
The wealth management industry does a great job serving those with significant liquid wealth, who are willing to delegate the management of their investments. Advisia Financial Planning, LLC is for those that are either unable (due to not meeting minimums or their assets are illiquid) or unwilling to hand over control of their investments for an ongoing fee.
I am a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, IRS Enrolled Agent, and have a BA in Finance from Western Washington University.

Advisia Financial Planning is an hourly, fee-only, fiduciary advisory firm offering financial planning, forward- looking tax planning, and investment advice for business owners, busy professionals, and families.Financial Advice by the Hour.
Our clients are looking for custom-tailored planning, tax, and investment advice and prefer to implement their own investment portfolios. We are exclusively an hourly financial planning firm. You drive when, how often, and for how long you engage with us.
Transparent Pricing
We are exclusively an hourly financial planning firm. You drive when, how often, and for how long you engage with us. The hourly rate is $350.
In our initial meeting we determine the scope of your needs and give you a firm quote based on the expected number of hours. Half is due when we begin, and the balance when the final recommendations are delivered to you. If we use less hours than expected, your cost will be adjusted downward.
Plan implementation help, follow-up planning for our existing clients, and ad hoc financial planning is available at our hourly rate.
Once you have been though our initial financial planning process, follow-up planning engagements are typically much shorter. Have a 15 minute phone call to answer some questions and get some quick advice? We will bill for 15 minutes. Want to update your financial plan to account for your promotion, pending business sale, or growing family? We will bill the actual time for the meetings and planning work.
Why Work With Us
As a small, owner-managed practice, we're able to give clients direct, personalized attention rather than routing them through a larger team.
No asset management fees. No ongoing planning fees. No product commissions. This is financial planning and investment advice on your terms.

Wealthtender® is a trusted, independent financial directory and educational resource governed by our strict Editorial Policy, Integrity Standards, and Terms of Use. We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
