About EQUAL VOICES Wealth
Strengthening great couples is our mission. At EQUAL VOICES Wealth, we provide fee-only financial planning, investing, and tax services. We're proudly based in Portland, Oregon, and we serve amazing couples from all over the US. Finances can be divisive, and we're here to change that. We work with successful couples who already communicate well, to help them take their relationship to the next [financial] level.We were founded by Natalie Slagle, CFP® and Dan Slagle, CFP®: married AND co-founders AND co-parents. We soon realized that if we had our own firm, we could do better for families. EQUAL VOICES is the firm we dreamt of.
We believe your relationship is the most valuable asset you have (and you know that already). We're here to make it even stronger. Our clients are typically in their 30s, 40s, 50s-ish: advanced (or advancing) in life + careers, and not that close to the 'typical' retirement stage. Many are high earners, typically with household income above $350K and/or a net worth over $1M. Some have received an inheritance or another unexpected or atypical windfall, like annual gifts.
We offer one way to work together: a continual relationship. We want to be your long-term relationship's long-term [financial] relationship.
Through financial planning, we provide accessible guidance and talk-it-out space for the important decisions, like when to retire and what to do with equity compensation. We'll weigh in on your company's benefits options, too. Through investment management, we'll set up, monitor, and actively manage your investments, so that feelings + procrastination + stuff don't stop you from maximizing your resources. That includes regular updates on your global portfolio, automatic rebalances, and proper tax management. Through EV-Tax, we provide tax projections mid-year and can file your taxes too. Through EV-Flow, we create a specialized cash flow system just for you and walk you through how to use it.
No products to sell. No commissions. No sleazy behavior. Fiduciary oath. Our fees are clear, straightforward, and transparent.
