Overview

I am a Late Starter ie I first discovered FIRE (Financial Independece Retire Early) concept at 47, which is way way later than most people. But it is never too late start!

I write about my journey to FI and hopefully get to the RE bit before the traditional retirement age of 65. I am also passionate about sharing other late starters’ stories and strategies in my Late Starter to FI series.

A great FIRE blog - with a bit of a difference

I love LateStarterFire’s blog. She’s got a pretty unique angle on having started late on her journey to financial independence & showing everyone that it’s never too late to start. Funny, articulate – and with a particularly good series of FIRE interviews to bring that real touch into it all. Check her out, I think you’ll get a lot out of it.

It's Never too Late to start

I love Late Starter Fire because she showcases that it’s never to late to start on the journey. Even if you can’t achieve freedom before trad retirement age, learning the concepts behind fire will make your regular retirement more secure and enjoyable.
