About Gaetan Policard
Hi, I'm Gaetan Policard. I'm the Founder and President of Dream Cap Financial in Doral, Florida. As a fiduciary advisor, I work with a diverse spectrum of clients—including healthcare professionals, business owners, and retirees across South Florida and nationwide—to help them create retirement income, protect their assets, and plan for future generations.
My primary areas of focus include retirement planning for healthcare professionals, business owner succession and exit planning, generational wealth transfer and legacy planning, asset protection strategies, risk management, and wealth management.
Reflecting the rich diversity of the families and professionals throughout our community, I speak English, French, Spanish, and Creole. In recognition of my work with clients, I was named Best Financial Planner in Doral in 2026 by Business Rate.
My background in financial services spans well over a decade, beginning in 2013 when I joined Centene as a benefits consultant. That role gave me a firsthand perspective on how healthcare costs and coverage choices directly affect long-term family finances, addressing one of the major challenges seniors encounter as they approach or navigate retirement. In 2014, I transitioned into advisory work with Senior Advisor Corporation, eventually rising to Vice President while concentrating on retirement and legacy planning for clients throughout South Florida.
In 2016, I founded Dream Cap Financial with the goal of creating a client-centered fiduciary practice anchored in commitment, integrity, communication, and discipline.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bryant University and financial planning education through Kaplan. Professionally, I hold the FINRA Series 65 license as an Investment Adviser Representative, along with Florida licenses for Life, Health & Annuity Insurance and Mortgage Loan Origination.
Beyond my advisory practice, I have supported Project St. Anne—a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children in need in Haiti—for more than ten years, driven by the belief that financial success carries a duty to reinvest in our communities.
When I am away from the office, I enjoy playing golf, traveling with my family, and producing music in my home studio.

About Dream Cap Financial
Originally founded in 2016, at Dream Cap Financial, we specialize in personal finance and are dedicated to helping you build a strong financial foundation to achieve both your short-term and long-term goals.Guided by our motto, "You Dream, We Plan!," our mission is to empower the families we serve to take control over their financial future, bridging dreams to lasting fulfillment. Our overarching vision is to create a seamless process that delivers financial security and peace of mind for generations to come.
We believe that true success relies on the strong, lasting relationships we build with our clients, where transparent communication thrives and expectations are consistently met. Rather than viewing financial decisions in isolation, we take a comprehensive approach that includes a full 360-degree review of your investments, cash flow, and insurance needs, while carefully accounting for estate planning and tax implications.
By pairing our professional knowledge and experience with innovative investment technology, we provide personalized insights, automated tracking, and data-driven strategies that simplify financial planning and make it easy for you to stay on top of your finances.
The Journey
Our work is structured around a three-stage planning journey—Now, Future, and Legacy—to address your concerns today, build your wealth over time, and carry your decisions forward.
In the "Now" phase, we focus on stabilizing the present through portfolio durability, downside protection, cash flow awareness, and addressing immediate protection needs.
In the "Future" phase, we design what comes next by developing a forward-looking strategy centered on retirement timing, risk management, healthcare exposure, disability concerns, and tax-aware growth.
Finally, the "Legacy" phase extends beyond retirement to coordinate estate planning, beneficiary alignment, and multigenerational wealth transfer, ensuring your plan supports family, charitable, and long-term stewardship goals.
In every relationship and interaction, our advisory practice is anchored by our four core rules of engagement: commitment, integrity, communication, and discipline. We remain fully committed to assisting you on every step of your financial journey, putting your needs first through objective analysis and education, maintaining the open dialogue essential to trust, and exercising the discipline required to keep you focused on reaching your goals. Together, we implement a cohesive strategy designed to help both you and future generations thrive.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
