About Jaime Quiñones, CFP®, EA
Hi, I'm Jaime Quiñones. I'm the Founder and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional at Stockade Wealth Management, an independent registered investment advisory firm based in Marlboro, New Jersey.I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Union College in Schenectady, New York, graduating in 2006, and began my career at a Wall Street-based firm in midtown Manhattan. In 2012, I moved to the independent advisory model, and in 2024 I founded Stockade Wealth Management to bring a more personal, holistic approach to the families and professionals I work with. Along the way I've earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and my Enrolled Agent (EA) credential, which also allows me to assist clients with tax preparation and planning.
My practice centers on a few areas I care deeply about: helping professionals understand their equity compensation, building tax-efficient retirement income strategies for people nearing the finish line, and guiding multi-generational families through legacy planning so they can pass on wealth with intention while minimizing unnecessary taxes and family confusion.
Through Stockade Wealth Management, I serve a diverse client base across the United States, combining financial planning, investment management, and insurance guidance into one holistic experience for every client.
Today I live in New Jersey, with my wife, three children, my parents, and our Egyptian Mau cat Mr. Boots. When I'm not in the office or spending time with my family, you can find me putting my self-taught handyman skills to work by fixing things around the house, bike riding, hiking new trails, or spending time at the beach.
I also enjoy traveling to experience new foods and cultures. I was certified as a scuba diver during a semester abroad in Fiji in college and have been meaning to get back in the water ever since. Surfing and kite surfing are on the list too — for whenever life opens up enough to make room.

About Stockade Wealth Management
At Stockade Wealth Management, we are an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and fiduciary firm based in Marlboro, New Jersey, serving clients locally and virtually across the country. As fiduciaries, we are legally and ethically committed to always putting our clients' best interests first, upholding complete transparency around our fees, disclosures, and recommendations.
Because accumulating wealth and turning it into dependable lifetime income require completely different skill sets, we specialize in helping individuals and families navigate the most complex financial chapters of their lives with clarity and purpose.
Our practice is intentionally built around three core groups: equity-compensated professionals (managing RSUs, stock options, and ESPPs), pre-retirees and retirees preparing to transition their nest egg into predictable cash flow, and multi-generational families navigating estate responsibilities and eldercare transitions.
Rather than treating financial decisions as isolated events, we integrate the six critical pillars of your financial life—investments, proactive tax planning, retirement income, equity compensation, Social Security and Medicare optimization, and estate coordination—into a single, coordinated strategy.
Unlike firms that outsource portfolio design to detached model portfolios, we manage investments directly, ensuring your money aligns directly with your tax exposure, time horizon, and personal comfort with risk.
Led by nearly two decades of experience with both Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) credentials, our firm combines comprehensive wealth strategy with deep, in-house tax expertise.
While many advisors refer out complex tax questions, our tax-informed approach allows us to address concentration risk, distribution timing, and legacy planning directly, helping you optimize your wealth over your entire lifetime.
At Stockade Wealth Management, we work for you and only you—giving you the dedicated focus and specialized guidance you need to protect what you have built and look forward to the future with confidence.

Wealthtender® is a trusted, independent financial directory and educational resource governed by our strict Editorial Policy, Integrity Standards, and Terms of Use. While we receive compensation from featured professionals (a natural conflict of interest), we always operate with integrity and transparency to earn your trust. We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
