About Raman Singh, CFP®
Hi, I’m Raman 👋I am Your Personalized CFO and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
I didn't grow up thinking I'd become a financial planner.
I was born in India, and when I was 12, my parents made the incredibly tough decision to send me to Texas to live with my grandparents, hoping I'd have a shot at a better future.
That experience taught me a lot, especially about the importance of planning ahead and being intentional with your finances, no matter where you're starting from.
I worked three jobs to put myself through college, studied Finance at the University of Houston, and eventually landed an opportunity at Morgan Stanley thanks to a mentor who believed in me. That kicked off a 13-year career at places like Fidelity and Facet Wealth. I became a CFP® in 2016 because I wanted to give people the kind of honest, transparent guidance I wish my own family had growing up.
But the more time I spent in the industry, the more I realized how broken it was. Too many advisors were pushing products or charging hefty fees without actually solving the real problems people face—like how to turn their savings into reliable income, reduce their taxes, or make sure their family's taken care of.
So in 2023, I started Singh PWM. A flat-fee, fiduciary firm built on one simple belief: financial advice should be clear, conflict-free, and actually helpful.
Today, I work with retirees and pre-retirees figuring out their next chapter, and business owners trying to juggle personal and professional finances. Whether it's building a retirement income plan, cutting taxes, or getting your estate in order, I'm here to be your guide.
I'm also a husband, a new dad to my son Luke, and someone who still believes that doing the right thing matters.

About Singh PWM
What can I expect during our introductory session?I offer a free initial consultation designed to keep things simple and transparent. In this call, we’ll get to know each other and determine if working together makes sense, while I also walk you through how the financial planning industry really works so you can clearly see the differences between advisors. My goal is that, regardless of whether we move forward, you leave the conversation with more clarity, knowledge, and confidence than you had before.
What kinds of clients benefit most from your services and approach?
The clients who benefit most from my services and approach are pre-retirees and retirees, typically in their 50s and 60s, who have accumulated $2 million or more in investable assets and want to simplify the complexity of their financial lives. They’re looking for comprehensive guidance that combines investment management, tax planning, retirement income strategies, and legacy planning to reduce risk and create a confident retirement. These clients value a flat-fee fiduciary relationship that puts their interests first, removes the noise and confusion of the financial industry, and helps them enjoy peace of mind knowing everything is taken care of.
How are your fees structured, and what can I expect to pay?
At Singh PWM, my fees are flat and transparent—never percentage-based and never commission-driven. Most clients choose between an annual retainer of $10,000 for ongoing, comprehensive planning that includes investment management and tax planning, or a one-time flat fee of $5,000 for a complete financial plan delivered over 12 weeks and support for a 5 month period to answer any follow up questions and amendments. For those with targeted needs, I also offer hourly planning at $300 per hour. For clients seeking a fully integrated experience, I provide tax preparation services and estate planning documentation prep included in the annual retainer to ensure every piece of their financial life is coordinated.
What key differentiators set your firm apart from other advisory firms?
Singh PWM is set apart by its flat-fee fiduciary model, which eliminates hidden costs and conflicts of interest found in percentage-based or commission-driven firms. The firm delivers comprehensive planning that goes beyond investments and retirement income to include cash flow monitoring, proactive tax planning, tax preparation, and estate planning documentation prep, ensuring every part of a client’s financial life works in harmony. Clients work directly with a Personalized CFO, receiving proactive, high-touch guidance that simplifies complexity and builds confidence in every financial decision.
What minimum asset level, if any, is required to become a client?
There is no asset minimum for clients who engage on a project basis or through a one-time flat-fee plan, making these services accessible regardless of portfolio size. For clients seeking an annual retainer relationship with investment management and proactive, ongoing planning, those with over $1 million in investable assets are typically the best fit, as the full scope of services—investment management, cash flow monitoring, proactive tax planning, tax preparation, and estate planning—delivers the greatest value at that level of complexity.
Who is a typical Singh PWM Client?
A typical Singh PWM client is over age 50, approaching or in retirement, and looking for tax-efficient strategies to reduce IRS burdens through Roth conversions, tax-smart withdrawals, and proactive planning. They often have complex finances—ranging from stock options and multiple accounts to rental properties, business entities, and estate needs—and want coordinated retirement, investment, and tax planning without the costly 1% AUM model.

Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
