About Rebecca Jackson, CPA, CFP®
I help tech professionals, executives, founders, and families make thoughtful decisions about money - especially when equity compensation, taxes, investments, and major life transitions are involved.I've spent most of my career around financial complexity. But I've come to believe something pretty strongly:
Your financial life doesn't need to be complicated just because your finances are.
As the founder of SeedSafe Financial, I work with people across the journey from building wealth to navigating complex financial decisions - and eventually living in the financial independence they've created.
My clients often come to us with stock options, RSUs, concentrated positions, IPOs, career changes, or simply the realization that their financial life has become too interconnected to manage one decision at a time.
I’m a CPA/PFS, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and Registered Life Planner® with a background spanning tax, investment management, venture debt, and startup finance. Before founding SeedSafe, I worked with firms including Dimensional Fund Advisors, Merriman Wealth Management, and Lighter Capital.
I also regularly speak on equity compensation, tax planning, entrepreneurship, and intentional wealth. My work has been featured in Forbes, MyStockOptions.com, and industry publications, and I was honored with the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Standing Ovation Award.
But good financial planning isn't about finding one more thing to optimize.
It's about knowing what matters, making thoughtful decisions, and creating more choices for how you live.
That became especially personal after my daughter was born and her health required me to rethink my own relationship with work. It's one of the reasons I started SeedSafe - and why I think about financial independence as much more than a retirement number.
Money is most valuable when it gives you choices.
Sometimes good advice means going deep into taxes, investments, and equity compensation. Sometimes it means diversifying the stock, paying the tax, taking the trip, and getting on with your life.
Knowing the difference is what I believe great financial planning is all about.

About SeedSafe Financial
SeedSafe Financial is a fee-only financial planning, investment management, and tax firm helping professionals and families from wealth-building through financial independence. We have particular expertise working with tech professionals, executives, and founders navigating equity compensation, concentrated stock, taxes, investments, and major life transitions.
We also believe something pretty simple: more financial planning isn't automatically better financial planning.
That's why our services are designed around the amount of advice your life actually requires - from focused planning while you're building, to comprehensive ongoing guidance during periods of complexity, to streamlined investment and tax stewardship once you've reached financial independence.
We go deep when it matters. When it doesn't, we don't manufacture complexity to justify our role.
The goal isn't more financial planning. It's more choice in how you live.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
