About Ryan Seewald
Hi, I'm Ryan Seewald, Founder and CEO of Bridlewood Private Wealth.I began my career at Lord, Abbett & Co., a global asset manager, where I focused on delivering investment advice to financial advisors. The role gave me a broad view of how portfolios are constructed and how investment strategy translates into real outcomes for clients. Over time, I found myself drawn to the other side of that relationship, working directly with the end client. In 2020, I made that move, joining RBC Wealth Management as a financial advisor.
At RBC, I formed a team specializing in portfolio management for private clientele, where I managed over $350 million in client assets. Under my leadership, the team was named to the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list in back-to-back years.
My goal was always to build a wealth management firm centered on my own views and values. In 2026, I left to do exactly that, and founded Bridlewood Private Wealth.

About Bridlewood Private Wealth
Wealth management is an industry that often refuses to adapt. It is no longer the same industry it was 20 years ago. Having a “broker” on Wall Street is a thing of the past. Access to information and financial markets has become readily available to everyone, practically at no cost. The rise in the use of passive ETFs and self-directed brokerage accounts created an environment where advisors needed to offer more value than just investment access in order to justify their fees. This has led to an increased focus on financial planning, while offloading investment decisions to asset managers. “Asset gatherers,” as the industry likes to call them.
Our view is that as technology continues to get better, and usage of things like AI becomes more widely accepted, this will again create an environment where advisors need to adapt and offer more value. We believe this will lead to an increased focus on true portfolio management.
Our opinion is that advisors will have to take a more research-focused approach to the entire investment landscape, blending comprehensive financial planning with a more in-depth and technical view on markets, with less reliance on outsourced investment decisions. This should reduce costs for clients, while providing better overall service.
This is the premise that Bridlewood was built on. At Bridlewood Private Wealth, we bring planning, portfolio management, and professional coordination together into a single, integrated approach.
Honesty, no matter the cost.
We will always tell you the truth. Even when it's uncomfortable. Even when it might cost us business. And even when a softer answer would be easier. Your interests come before ours. Every single time. We're a fee-only fiduciary, paid only by our clients, never through commissions or product sales.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
