About Todd Stankiewicz, CFP®, ChFC®, CMT®, ABFP®, EA

Most people don’t need more financial advice. They need a better way to make decisions.

I’m a dad, a golfer, a business owner, and someone who spends most of his time helping people make better financial decisions when the stakes are high.

If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re not starting from scratch. You’re likely navigating tradeoffs - timing decisions, risk, tax implications, or competing priorities - and want a clearer way to think through them.

If we work together, you can expect real conversations about what matters to you, where you’re trying to go, and how to structure decisions in a way that fits your life.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions when needed, and help you evaluate your options with a clear framework. That process is not done in isolation. Decisions are evaluated across planning, investments, and tax considerations so nothing is looked at in a vacuum.

The goal is not just to build a plan, but to help you make decisions with more clarity and less second-guessing over time.

You can expect thoughtful conversations, honest guidance, and advice tailored to your situation, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need a place to start.

I look forward to speaking with you and appreciate the opportunity to learn about what you are seeking to gain from a relationship with a wealth manager. About SYKON Capital

SYKON Capital is a Fee-Only Fiduciary Financial Advisory firm Focused on Better Financial Decisions, Not Just Portfolios

We help individuals and families align investment management, financial planning, tax strategy, and estate planning into one coordinated approach.

Most financial advice focuses on products, portfolios, or a checklist.

At SYKON Capital, we focus on decisions.

Wealth is not just about what you earn or accumulate. It is about what you keep, how you manage risk, and what your resources enable you to do.

SYKON Capital is a fee-only fiduciary financial advisory firm with offices in Harrison, NY and Jupiter, FL. We work with individuals and families to align their financial strategy with what matters most to them through a coordinated approach to financial planning, investment management, tax strategy, and estate planning.

Many clients come to us when they are facing decisions around equity compensation, concentrated investments, business ownership, or major financial transitions. They are not just looking for a portfolio. They are looking for clarity around decisions that carry long-term consequences.

Our approach integrates:

• Behavioral-based financial planning to improve real-world decision making
• Risk-aware investment management focused on protecting against avoidable losses while identifying opportunity
• Integrated tax and estate planning so strategies work together, not in silos
• A team-based model that brings multiple perspectives and areas of expertise to every client relationship

As an independent, fee-only fiduciary, we do not receive commissions or product-based compensation. Our responsibility is to provide objective advice aligned with each client’s goals and circumstances.

The objective is not just growth. It is to help clients make informed, intentional decisions about their wealth with clarity and confidence.

With offices in Harrison, NY and Jupiter, FL, we work with clients locally and across the United States through both in-person and virtual relationships.

Why Our Team Is Different

Most financial advice is delivered in silos: investment management, financial planning, and tax considerations are often handled separately, and in some cases not fully coordinated.

Our team is structured to bring these areas together so decisions can be evaluated in context, not in isolation.
We bring experience across financial planning, investment management, and tax strategy, allowing for a more coordinated approach to client decisions.

This includes:

• Financial planning backgrounds, supported by CFP® and ChFC® designations
• Investment and market-focused disciplines, including CMT® and CFA® training
• Tax knowledge, including Enrolled Agent (EA) credentials, which allows for greater integration of tax-aware considerations

This combination allows us to evaluate decisions with a broader perspective—considering not just investments, but how timing, taxes, risk, and long-term objectives interact.

For clients, that means fewer disconnected recommendations and a more coordinated approach to managing complexity.

FAQs

What makes your approach to financial advice different?
Most financial advice focuses on products, portfolios, or a checklist. I focus on decisions. The clients I work with are often not lacking information. They are navigating tradeoffs, uncertainty, and the pressure of getting important decisions right. My role is to bring structure to that process by combining financial planning, investment strategy, and behavioral insight. That means helping clients think through risk, timing, and long-term consequences, not just recommending a portfolio. The goal is to help clients make more informed decisions with greater clarity.
What type of client tends to get the most value from working with you?
The clients who tend to get the most value are those navigating complex financial decisions. This often includes individuals and families dealing with equity compensation, concentrated positions, business ownership, or tax-sensitive situations. They are typically thoughtful and engaged, but want more structure around how to evaluate tradeoffs and make decisions with long-term implications. They are less focused on chasing returns and more focused on making well-informed decisions around risk, timing, and long-term outcomes.
How do you think about risk when working with clients?
I do not view risk as just market volatility. For many clients, the more meaningful risks are tied to decisions, when to act, how different parts of their financial life interact, and how behavioral responses to markets can impact outcomes. My role is to help identify where risk actually exists, whether that is concentration, tax exposure, timing, or behavioral factors. From there, we structure decisions in a way that is intentional and aligned with long-term goals.
How do you help clients make better financial decisions?
A key part of my work is helping clients slow down decisions that feel urgent. Markets and headlines can create pressure to act, but long-term outcomes are often shaped by a smaller number of important decisions made over time. I help clients evaluate tradeoffs, consider second-order effects, and avoid decisions driven by short-term emotion or incomplete information. The goal is not to eliminate uncertainty, but to navigate it more effectively.
What does it look like to work with you?
The process typically starts with a conversation focused on your situation, goals, and where decisions feel unclear. From there, we build structure around those decisions by connecting financial planning, investment strategy, and tax considerations into a coordinated approach. Ongoing work focuses on maintaining alignment, adapting to changes, and making informed decisions as your situation evolves.
How do you structure fees for clients?
I do not use a single pricing model for every client. Fees are structured based on the complexity of the situation and how we are working together. This may include ongoing investment management, flat-fee planning engagements, or a combination of both. All fees are clearly disclosed in advance. As part of a fee-only fiduciary model, I do not receive commissions or compensation from financial products. We do not have any account minimums.
Can I work with you for financial planning only?
Yes. Some clients engage for financial planning-only services without ongoing investment management. This allows for flexibility depending on your needs and whether you are looking for advice, implementation, or both.
