About Zach Verdi
Hi, I'm Zach Verdi. As Vice President and Financial Advisor at Coleman Financial Advisory Group LLC, I work closely with individuals and families to develop comprehensive, personalized financial strategies designed to align with their long-term goals. I am dedicated to providing clients with uncompromising attention to detail as I review their current and future financial situation, risk tolerance, and personal priorities. I take a thoughtful and disciplined approach to planning, helping clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence every step of the way.I serve as the Head of two specialty divisions at Coleman Financial Advisory Group LLC, leading the Athlete Wealth Advisory Division and co-leading the Physician Wealth Advisory Division. As Head of the Athlete Wealth Advisory Division, I work to guide professional and collegiate athletes through life after athletics, helping them turn peak earning years into long lasting financial strength. As a former Division 1 athlete myself, I bring a competitive edge, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset to this role. As Co-Head of the Physician Wealth Advisory Division, I work with physicians and surgeons whose financial lives often involve complex tax planning, elevated liability considerations, significant earning potential, and demanding professional commitments. I help clients navigate these complexities through comprehensive wealth management strategies tailored to their unique financial circumstances.
Prior to joining the firm, I spent five years at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Johnson & Johnson, where I served as the lead consultant for New York City’s largest hospital systems, including New York-Presbyterian Columbia, New York-Presbyterian Cornell, The Mount Sinai Health System, and NYU Langone Health. I managed relationships with both surgeons and corporate executives, working alongside them in both the operating room and the boardroom to optimize hospital expenditures and advance surgical techniques.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College. I hold my Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, along with my Life and Health Insurance license.
I am both family and community-oriented and prioritize spending my free time with my wife and twin children. I also value giving back to my community, regularly participating in local charity events, the Chamber of Commerce, the Special Olympics, and initiatives that strengthen connections and make a positive impact.

About Coleman Financial Advisory Group
Coleman Financial Advisory Group LLC is a full-service financial services firm specializing in retirement planning, income strategies, asset management, and estate conservation. Our expertise is in helping provide you with solutions to work toward growing, managing, and preserving your wealth while also addressing your needs for safety and financial independence. Our Services
We treat every client as though they are our only client. Whether you are looking for retirement income planning, estate conservation, tax strategies, or investment management, through our comprehensive approach, we have tailored a proactive client service model that is specific to the individual needs and objectives of each client.
Rather than relying on surface-level projections, we conduct comprehensive financial evaluations that often exceed 200 pages and extend more than 30 years into the future, aiming to leave nothing uncovered. This long-range perspective allows us to examine how decisions made today may influence income, taxes, and financial flexibility decades from now. Through this level of analysis, we are often able to identify important pivot points - moments where a strategic decision can meaningfully affect long-term outcomes - as well as friction points, where taxes, market exposure, or structural inefficiencies may quietly erode wealth over time. Recognizing these dynamics early allows us to design strategies that emphasize thoughtful tax coordination, adaptable income planning, and long-term resilience. Just as importantly, it creates a framework that can be revisited and refined as circumstances evolve.
Who We Serve
Our team spans multiple generations of advisors, combining decades of experience with long-term continuity for the families we serve. Since 1990, we have worked with individuals, families, business owners, executives, physicians, and professional athletes who value disciplined analysis, careful planning, and a steady hand - particularly as they approach or enter retirement.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
