The Question

I’m disabled. Some serious trauma. Can a financial advisor help me get back on track?

Hi-

Financial advisors may be able to help- most advisors have a focus of their practice, so look around for one that fits and reach out. Most advisors should offer a free 15-30 min consult to see if you are a fit for each other.

A few things to consider prior to reaching out:

  • Are you receiving government services?
  • Do you have a conservator or guardian assisting you?
  • Is it a temporary or permanent disability?

When you say “back on track” what does that look like to you?
