Hi! I’m Ryan Bannister, Owner and Lead Money Man of 1Up Financial Advisors. I help busy Twitch and YouTube creators like you manage money.
After telling someone you're a content creator, has anyone ever asked you, "Do you have a real job too?" It seems like so many people today still don't understand that making a living online isn't just possible; it's how the world works now.
This misconception is definitely still running strong in the world of money & finance. That's where I come in as a financial planner - my job is to help busy creators plan their goals for life, family, and business into the world of money. Bring a beer, this will be fun. Think of me as the guy who helps you write the strategy guide to your game of money.
I’m a licensed CPA and fee-only financial planner, both of which make me a fiduciary for you. Think of that like the legal version of Snape’s Unbreakable Vow — meaning I’m legally obligated to put your best interest first in any strategies I recommend.
I love building relationships and helping people work towards their version of "financial success," whether that's creating more free time to do the things you love or socking away what you make for your kid's college fund. I want you to be excited to look at your bank account, able to breathe and focus on creating, and confident in understanding where your money is going.
Click the 'Book Intro Call' button above and use the form to schedule a free consultation call with me. We’ll chat for 20-30 mins to see if we’re a good fit to work together. We typically don’t get into numbers, and will mainly talk about your business and what you’re looking for in an advisor.

About our Firm
If your money feels like the final boss you spend hours trying to beat, we're your strategy guide.
You’re making way more money than you ever thought you would playing video games and creating content. But does it feel like you just never have the time (or interest, don’t be shy) to keep up with it all?
Just like with a game, if you sit there for hours, you can eventually get a handle on this money thing. But who wants to do that?
Imagine how it would be different if you were PSYCHED to look at your money knowing you’re making the right moves...that’s where we can help as a fee-only financial planning firm.
We put your interests first and team up with you to create your own personal money strategy guide (just like the good ol’ Nintendo Power days).
WHAT GETTING STARTED LOOKS LIKE:
If you’ve never worked with an advisor before, I know it can feel really weird to book a call with some guy on the internet. So here’s the process you can expect when you book your intro call with me:
1️⃣ Book an Intro Call. Here, we’ll chat for 20-30 min to see if we’re a good fit. We typically don’t get too deep into numbers, if at all. We’ll mainly talk about what you’re looking for in an advisor, as well as your goals for life, family, and business.
2️⃣ We’re a good fit! I’ll invite you to a longer meeting where we’ll dive a bit deeper into money and start creating potential strategies to match your short and long-term goals.
3️⃣ Decide next steps. After both of these sessions, we will decide what’s next. If you’re ready, we’ll schedule the initial planning meetings and get this show on the road. If the full planning process isn’t for you yet, I still have plenty of other resources to help you.

Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
