The Money Monks (TMM) is a personal finance blog that will help you take charge of your financial life.We are an ordinary couple with ‘not-so-ordinary’ ambitions – and retiring at 45 is our gateway to achieving them.
While we love our respective careers, ‘nine-to-five till sixty-five’ is no way to live our lives. We want the freedom to choose our life stories, to live our life without being dependent on ‘making a living’.
Our goal is financial independence.
Through TMM, we will be sharing our personal journey, real-life experiences and on-the-path learning with you.
Whether you’re a student, a professional, a homemaker or business-owner, if you aren’t at peace with your money, but are passionate about remedying your situation, then this blog is for you.

If you’re looking to learn about F.I.R.E, investments, savings, budgeting, or just lifestyle in general, this is the blog to read. Very useful even for a beginner. Uses data to explain concepts really well, and can help you get very actionable advice from reading some articles. Highly recommended at all experience and knowledge levels, if financial independence is your goal.
