About Me
Hi, I'm Cait Howerton, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Professional for Archer Investment Management. I believe that all people should have access to objective and conflict-free financial advice.
In 2019, I was named a Financial Planning Association Diversity Scholar and received the 2050 Trail Blazers Scholarship for my commitment to diversity within the financial planning field.
I'm a former member of the FPA of Georgia Diversity Committee and former host of the FPA PridePlanners Knowledge Circle. I'm a current member of The CFP Board Women’s Initiative Council. I also provide pro bono financial coaching within my community. I'm an LGBTQ+, Financial, and Social Advocate, frequent podcast guest, and Student Loan Expert.
I'm originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, but now reside in the Greater Atlanta area with my wife, golden retriever, and two cats. In my free time, I enjoy hikes, gardens, and spending time with family and friends.

HOW IS ARCHER INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT DIFFERENT?
📍We only take on a limited number of clients. This means you’ll always get remarkable service and extremely personalized recommendations for your finances.
📍We are a 100% fully digital firm. We operate paper-free and we pay thousands of dollars per year to use industry-leading technology. The world-class technology we use helps us minimize your taxes, trade costs, and maintain your custom Riskalyze (™) risk target.
📍We are a fiduciary. Fiduciary is a fancy word that has a simple (and important!) meaning... we don’t get paid to steer you into buying overpriced investment products you don’t want or need.
HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF YOU'RE A GOOD FIT?
We do our best work with professionals who have accumulated investment and retirement assets of $1,000,000 or more. These assets can be in a brokerage, IRA, 401(k), 403(b), options accounts, and more.
For folks with a household income of $250,000 or more, we are exploring adding a flat-fee annual subscription option with a minimum annual fee of $5,000. If this is something that would fit your billing preferences, please let us know.
HOW DOES ARCHER INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT MAKE MONEY?
We charge a small percentage of the assets we manage for you. The fee varies depending on the size of your portfolio. Typically these range from .5% - 1%.
