Hi, I’m Don Martone. I help experienced energy and plastics professionals plan for their futures and build meaningful legacies. When we first meet, my goal is to build a new connection. I start by introducing myself, learning about your goals, exploring financial options, and answering any questions you might have.
There’s no sales pitch, confusing terms, or pressure—just an honest chat about how we work with clients in oil and gas related industries. Together, we’ll decide if we’re a good match to move forward or part ways as friends. The first meeting is always free and has no strings attached.

I understand oil and gas professionals because I worked in related industries for 27 years. Graduated as a chemical engineer, now, as a financial planner, I go beyond managing investments. I focus on tax-smart strategies to grow, manage, and pass down wealth. I also teach my clients that leaving a legacy isn’t just about money—it’s about passing down values, skills, and a sense of purpose.
I work closely with other advisors, like CPAs and attorneys, to make sure more of your wealth goes to your family, your faith, or charities—and less to taxes. My training at top schools like Wharton, Rice, and Yale helps me stay sharp and provide the best advice.
I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, licensed in multiple states, and hold several securities and insurance certifications, including Series 7 and Series 66.

I grew up in a hardworking family where money was tight. My Italian immigrant father taught me the value of hard work, and I started learning about investing early to help ease money worries at home. Those experiences shaped my passion for helping others reach their financial goals, manage priorities, and enjoy balanced, fulfilling lives.

I live in Spring, TX, with my wife, Rhonda, who’s a nurse anesthetist, and our award-winning Samoyed dogs. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, playing golf in my home simulator, reading, volunteering, working out, playing guitar, and riding my sport bike around town.
