About Me

Hi, I'm Don Martone. I exist to help seasoned oil &gas related professionals leave their best legacies. I do this by clearly explaining complex concepts, developing deep personal relationships, and closely coordinating with other client advisors, including CPAs and attorneys, to help execute specific tax-smart strategies and estate considerations.

Markets can be turbulent, so I cannot guarantee that tough times will never return, but I work with you to help navigate a path toward achieving your long-term financial goals. Professional certificates from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Rice University demonstrate that I also spend considerable time learning how to help my clients get better at winning this game called Life.

✅ MY WHY: Raised in a family where money was always tight, I inherited a strong work ethic from my Italian immigrant father and learned how to invest at an early age to help relieve money anxieties at home. Early childhood experiences like these forged my passion to help others achieve their own financial goals, balance competing priorities, stay on course and live fulfilling lives.

✅ ON A PERSONAL NOTE: I live in Spring, TX, with my wife, Rhonda, a certified registered nurse anesthetist, and our award-winning Samoyed 'children'. I spend my free time being with my family, playing golf, reading, volunteering within my community, working out with weights, enjoying my guitars, and riding my sport bike around town.
