Jeff Grimes is a financial planner who embarked on a career path driven by his desire to help others. Initially aspiring to become a full-time missionary, he transitioned into the financial advisory field after struggling to raise support.
He has been motivated to help others be equipped and confident to do the work the Lord has called them, not letting finances limit the possibilities.
Jeff graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. He is a huge Longhorn fan and devotes too many fall Saturdays to following them and the rest of college football.
Currently splitting his time between Colorado and Central Texas, Jeff finds solitude and adventure in outdoor activities, exploring new cuisines, and traveling. He embraces personal growth, seeks guidance from mentors, and aims to encourage others in their pursuit of freedom and grace.

About our Firm
Parakaleo Planning is an Advice Only Firm centered on life planning for divorced dads and Christians in life transitions.
✅ Financial Life Planning
Financial life planning is different from traditional financial planning as it is based on uncovering your ideal life and then building your financial plan centered on those ideas rather than just your money.
I initially ignore current circumstances and present problems and focus on creating the ideal life from a blank canvas by answering a few thought-provoking questions. After you paint a picture of the ideal life, I make sure to build your financial plan so that you are intentionally moving in that direction. The process will help you identify and overcome obstacles and find alternatives that are more consistent with your ideals.
✅ Advice and Fee Only
I focus on providing value to you while operating in your best interests by minimizing the conflicts of interest in the financial services industry. I do not manage money or sell any products. I do not have control over your investments or require you to make any changes or move any accounts to receive services. I am providing a fee-only service.
The aim of providing this model is that you can get advice and life planning without having a minimum level of assets or net worth.

To make Wealthtender free for readers, we earn a nominal monthly fee from financial advisors and firms in exchange for providing access to the benefits described here (including being featured on this profile page), subject to these terms. This compensation creates a natural conflict of interest when we favor their promotion over others. Wealthtender is not a client of these advisors or firms. Testimonials may not be representative of other clients’ experiences and do not guarantee future performance or success.
Wealthtender exists to help people discover the most trusted and authentic financial advisors and educators in the finance community.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals, personal finance blogs and podcasts may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Help ensure your review is useful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Be objective. Try to highlight both positives and negatives in your review, even if your experience skews heavily in one direction.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable for others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harrassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscentities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identity another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are useful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the review in question and reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
