About Jeffrey Yeakle, ChFC®, CFP®
Retirement should feel like a finish line, not a question mark. But for most people approaching it, there are more unknowns than answers. Will the money last? Is the tax strategy right? What does income actually look like when the paychecks stop? Those are the questions I've spent nearly 30 years helping people work through.
I co-founded MY Wealth Management because I wanted to build a firm with a clear focus: fiduciary advice, transparent client relationships, and a process free of sales pressure. My planning process is designed around each client's individual goals, income picture, and tax situation. Individual outcomes will vary based on each person's circumstances and goals.
Before starting the firm, I held positions at Prudential Securities, First Union, and Sandy Spring Bank. That background shapes how I think about markets, risk, and the kinds of mistakes that can quietly derail retirement plans.
If you're 50 or older and want a second opinion on where you stand, I'd welcome that conversation.

What to expect in the first meeting
The first meeting is straightforward. No pressure, no pitch, no obligation. Click the Test Drive Your Retirement button above to schedule your complimentary introductory conversation. We'll spend about 30 minutes getting to know you: where you are today, what you're working toward, and what questions you have about retirement. You don't need to bring anything or prepare anything. Just show up ready to talk openly. We'll ask the right questions. By the end of the call, you'll have a clearer picture of whether we're a good fit and what working together could look like. The goal is for you to leave with more clarity than you came in with.Offers Investment Management

About MY Wealth Management, Inc.
Most people spend decades building wealth. Our job is to help you plan around the decisions that come next.Since 2013, MY Wealth Management has served pre-retirees and retirees age 50 and older across the greater Washington, D.C. area. We're a fee-based, fiduciary firm, which means we're legally required to act in your best interest and we're compensated transparently.
Our work centers on three things that determine whether a retirement plan holds up: managing taxes, structuring income, and making sure your investments are positioned for where you are now, not where you were 20 years ago.
Tax planning is a particular focus. Decisions around Roth conversions, Social Security timing, Required Minimum Distributions, and income sequencing can have a meaningful impact on long-term retirement outcomes. The right approach depends on your individual situation, and the strategies that make sense for one person may not be appropriate for another. We use financial planning tools to model different scenarios so you can see how the variables interact for your specific plan.
Our complimentary Retirement Evaluation is the starting point for most new clients. In that initial review, we look at your income plan, identify potential tax-aware opportunities, and assess whether your current investments are structured for retirement. Results will vary based on individual circumstances.
We're a small, focused team by design. Every client works directly with Jeff. You get experience, attention, and a plan you actually understand.

We Want Your Voice to be Heard
Wealthtender exists to help people discover trusted and authentic financial professionals and educators who may be a good fit based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Your honest reviews help people decide which financial professionals and educators may be best suited to their individual needs.
The majority of people trust reviews as much as personal recommendations, so what you write in your review should reflect your own opinion and experience.
Tips for Writing a Helpful Review
Be descriptive. Instead of just saying what you like or dislike, share why. What have you enjoyed most or least about your experience with the provider? Have they helped you overcome a difficult financial challenge or strengthened your knowledge about particular money matters? The more details, the better!
Be honest. Your rating and review should reflect your actual experience.
Stay relevant. Ensure your review is helpful to others by avoiding off-topic discussions or personal opinions not relevant to your direct experience.
Make your review easy to read. Reviews should be readable to others. Use proper grammar, avoid excessive capitalization or punctuation, and be sure to check your spelling.
Be yourself. Don’t post as, or pretend to be, someone else, and do not say you’re associated with a person or organization with which you are not.
Be nice. Don’t write abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing content. Avoid personal threats, hate speech, obscenities, or inflammatory language.
Respect the privacy of others. Don’t post information that can be used to identify another individual or compromise their privacy.
Report abuse. Thank you for helping us ensure reviews on Wealthtender are helpful to everyone. If you suspect possible violations of our guidelines or believe a review is inappropriate, please email support@wealthtender.com with a link to the provider’s profile, indicating the review in question and the reason you believe it violates our guidelines.
