About Ramiro Marmolejo, CFP®, ChFC®

I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and the founder of Financial Rubrics, an educator-first financial planning practice I launched in 2023 after beginning my YouTube educational platform in 2022. My goal is simple: help busy professionals make financial decisions with clarity rather than confusion.

I teach clients to evaluate every decision—Protection, Liquidity, Debt Management, and Growth—inside one coordinated model. Most people don’t have a money problem; they have a coordination problem. Their accounts, benefits, insurance, taxes, and investments all live in separate silos. I help bring everything together so decisions support each other instead of competing for dollars.

I work primarily with dual-income households, medical professionals, executives, and individuals experiencing financial transitions such as job changes, retirement, windfalls, and stock option events. My approach is structured, transparent, and always built on education first, strategy second, and products last.

Outside of planning, I enjoy dog rescue and adoption, traveling in Europe with my family, practicing Kuntao Silat, and spending time at Disney World. These experiences keep me grounded, grateful, and focused on helping people build financial lives that support the things they love.

Financial Rubrics is an educator-first financial planning firm built on a simple framework: Protection, Liquidity, Debt Management, and Growth. If you are a busy professional, you need to have a conversation with Ramiro. Ramiro does an excellent job of explaining what's going on in the market and provides an in depth analysis of your investment portfolio tailored to you based on your risk appetite. On a personal note, Ramiro has talked me down from the ledge several times over the past 10 years when I saw the market dip and I wanted to pull all my funds and invest them elsewhere. Every single time, the market reacted the way he said it would and I am thankful that the investments were kept in place and not put towards that "can't miss" private stock for a cloud seeding company. The best thing about Ramiro is his non-salesy approach to earning your business. He is a great advisor and an even better person.

Ramiro has been my financial planner since I have had the finances to plan! I have followed him as my planner and transferred funds as he advanced and changed firms. I wasn’t really that interested in the firm he worked with as much as I was maintaining the relationship with him. I have always valued his approach to teaching investment principles rather than selling. He is genuine and has a “soft touch” with his practices which I believe fosters confidence and demonstrates integrity. I have also appreciated his embracing new technologies as a means to establish and then fine tune investment strategies for me as an individual.
